Definitions

Crew
Crew Pty Ltd, ABN โ€”, operator of the Crew platform at getcrew.com.au
Member
A registered customer with an active Crew account
Contractor
A service provider registered on the Crew platform who accepts and completes jobs
CrewPoints
Loyalty points earned by Members on completed bookings, redeemable only for contractor add-on services
Crew Bucks
Dollar-denominated credits earned from milestones, applied as a discount at checkout. Not redeemable for cash.
Crew Stamp Card
The booking-based loyalty mechanic: 5 qualifying stamps earn a 6th commission-free booking. Recurring bookings with the same contractor count as one stamp per calendar month.
CrewPass
The paid monthly subscription ($7.99/mo) providing enhanced rewards and booking benefits
Add-on
A supplementary service offered by a Contractor alongside a primary booking, priced at the Contractor's discretion
Inactivity
A period during which no completed bookings are recorded on the Member's account

Programme overview

The CrewPoints Rewards Programme ("the Programme") is operated by Crew Pty Ltd and is available to all registered Members. Participation constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.

The Programme consists of four distinct mechanics: CrewPoints (earn and spend on add-ons), Crew Bucks (milestone cash credits), the Crew Stamp Card (booking-frequency reward), and Loyalty Tiers (spend-based status benefits). Each mechanic operates independently.

Crew reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Programme at any time with 30 days notice to Members, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Earning CrewPoints

Base earn rate: 100 CrewPoints are awarded per $1 of the base service price paid on every completed booking. Points are not awarded on: add-on services, booking fees, licensed trade job components, equipment hire, or tips.

2ร— points when booking a Rising Star contractor. Capped at 500 bonus points per booking. Rising Star status is determined solely by Crew.
4-week streak
+500 bonus points on completing 4 consecutive weeks each with at least one booking. The streak resets if a calendar week passes with no completed booking.
CrewPass multiplier
Active CrewPass subscribers earn 1.25ร— points on all bookings. Multiplier applies to base earn only, not to booster points.

Points are credited to the Member's account upon booking confirmation of completion. Points awarded in error may be reversed by Crew without notice.

Points expiry โ€” tiered policy

Points expiry is tiered by loyalty status and resets on every completed booking. The expiry window begins from the date of the Member's last completed booking.

Active CrewPass subscriber
Points never expire while the subscription remains active and payments are current. If the subscription lapses, the Member's tier-based window applies from the lapse date.

Crew will send a reminder notification at the halfway point of the applicable expiry window. It is the Member's responsibility to ensure their notification settings permit delivery of such reminders.

Expired points are forfeited and cannot be reinstated. Crew has no obligation to restore expired points under any circumstances.

Redemption โ€” contractor add-ons

Points may only be redeemed for contractor add-on services. Points are not redeemable for cash, as a discount off the base job price, against booking fees, against licensed trade job costs, or for any service not listed as an add-on by the assigned Contractor.

How payment works at redemption: When a Member redeems points for an add-on, Crew pays the Contractor their listed add-on rate directly from the Member's points balance โ€” the Member pays nothing additional for that add-on. The Contractor is always paid in full at their listed rate.

Add-on pricing: Each Contractor sets their own add-on prices independently. Prices are not fixed by Crew and may vary between Contractors. Crew does not guarantee any specific add-on will be available or priced at any particular amount.

Add-on availability: Contractors may choose to offer add-ons, offer a selection of add-ons, or offer no add-ons at all. A Contractor's add-on menu is displayed at the time of booking. Crew makes no guarantee that any add-on will be available from any particular Contractor.

Per-booking cap: The maximum points redemption value per booking is $20.00. Points with a value exceeding $20 cannot be applied to a single booking. Unused points remain in the Member's balance.

Redemption rate: 100 CrewPoints = $0.10 in add-on value (10ยข per $1 spent earning). This rate may be changed by Crew with 30 days notice.

Crew Bucks

Crew Bucks are dollar-denominated credits earned by completing specific milestones. They are applied automatically at checkout as a discount against the base service price and booking fee combined.

Crew Bucks never expire and are not subject to inactivity forfeiture. Maximum Crew Bucks applied per booking: $20.00. Crew Bucks have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or withdrawn.

Crew Stamp Card

The Crew Stamp Card awards a commission-free booking after a Member accumulates a qualifying number of stamps. Each completed booking earns one stamp, subject to the recurring contractor rule below.

Recurring bookings โ€” one stamp per contractor per calendar month. Where a Member has an ongoing recurring booking arrangement with the same Contractor (weekly, fortnightly, or any regular frequency), that Contractor may contribute a maximum of one stamp to the Member's Stamp Card per calendar month, regardless of how many bookings are completed in that month. Each distinct Contractor booked in a given month earns a separate stamp. This rule applies equally to Gold and Platinum double-stamp members.

"Commission-free" defined: Crew waives its platform commission on the qualifying booking. The Contractor is paid in full at their normal rate. The Member pays only the job price โ€” no platform fee is deducted. The booking fee ($2.99 for Basic members) is also waived on the qualifying booking.

Stamp card expiry: Stamps expire after 6 months of inactivity (no completed bookings). Any completed booking resets the stamp expiry clock. Expired stamps are forfeited and the card resets to zero. Crew will send a reminder at 5 months.

Stamp counting โ€” recurring services: Each unique Contractor the Member books in a calendar month contributes one stamp, regardless of booking frequency with that Contractor. A Member booking the same lawn mowing contractor weekly earns one stamp in January, one in February, and so on. A Member who books three different contractors in one month earns three stamps in that month.

No points on free booking: The commission-free booking earns no CrewPoints, as no base service commission is collected. The stamp card resets immediately after the free booking is completed.

Double stamps (Gold/Platinum): Each qualifying stamp counts as 2 stamps toward the card total. The one-stamp-per-contractor-per-month rule applies first โ€” the doubling then applies to that one qualifying stamp. The double-stamp benefit applies from the date of tier upgrade and ceases immediately upon a tier downgrade.

Contractor referral programme

Referring a contractor earns $15.00 in Crew Bucks, subject to the conditions below. This is the complete and binding statement of the contractor referral benefit.

8.1 โ€” Eligibility and trigger

A Member earns $15.00 in Crew Bucks when all of the following conditions are satisfied:

  1. The Member shares their unique contractor referral code with a person who is not already registered as a Crew Contractor.
  2. That person registers as a Crew Contractor using the referral code within 30 days of the code being shared.
  3. The referred Contractor completes 3 separate, verified, paid jobs on the Crew platform. Each job must be accepted by a different customer, confirmed complete, and have payment released from escrow.

The $15.00 Crew Bucks credit is applied to the referring Member's account upon completion of the referred Contractor's 3rd qualifying job. No credit is awarded before this threshold is reached.

8.2 โ€” Non-refundable

The $15.00 Crew Bucks credit is non-refundable and non-reversible once awarded. If the referred Contractor subsequently ceases operating on the Crew platform, is deactivated, or requests account deletion after the 3-job threshold has been met and the credit awarded, no clawback or reversal of the credit will occur. The credit remains in the referring Member's Crew Bucks balance.

8.3 โ€” Limits and restrictions

A Member may not refer themselves under a separate account. Self-referrals will be voided and may result in account suspension.
Job eligibility
Trial jobs, cancelled jobs, disputed jobs not resolved in the Contractor's favour, and jobs completed outside the Crew platform do not count toward the 3-job threshold.
Code expiry
Referral codes expire 30 days after being shared. A new code can be generated at any time.
Fraud
Crew reserves the right to void credits and suspend accounts where referral fraud is suspected, including coordinated fake job completion.

8.4 โ€” Credit nature

The $15.00 credit is issued as Crew Bucks (see Section 6) and is subject to the Crew Bucks terms including the $20 per-booking cap and non-cash-redeemable nature. The credit has no monetary value outside the Crew platform.

Loyalty tiers

Tier status is calculated on total verified spend on the Crew platform in the preceding 12-month rolling period. Spend includes base service price only โ€” add-ons, booking fees, licensed trade components and equipment hire are excluded from tier calculations.

Tier upgrades take effect immediately upon crossing the spend threshold. Tier downgrades take effect at the end of the 12-month assessment window if spend has fallen below the threshold. Benefits of a lower tier do not stack with the higher tier โ€” the Member receives only their current tier's benefits.

Loyalty discounts apply to base service price only and cannot be combined with promotional discounts or promo codes unless expressly stated.

CrewPass subscription

CrewPass is a paid monthly subscription available at $7.99/month. Benefits include: 1.25ร— CrewPoints multiplier, booking fee waiver, and points that never expire while the subscription is active and payments are current.

If a CrewPass subscription lapses, is cancelled, or payment fails: the booking fee waiver and multiplier cease immediately. The points never-expire benefit ceases from the lapse date, and the Member's tier-based expiry window applies from that date.

CrewPass does not affect Crew Bucks โ€” Crew Bucks never expire regardless of subscription status.

Abuse, fraud and termination

Crew may suspend or terminate a Member's Programme participation, void accumulated points and Crew Bucks, and close the Member's account in the event of: suspected fraud, gaming of Programme mechanics, creation of fake accounts, coordinated referral abuse, or any breach of Crew's Terms of Use.

Points and Crew Bucks have no monetary value and Crew has no obligation to compensate a Member for forfeited points or credits in the event of account termination for cause.

Crew uses automated fraud detection. Accounts flagged for abnormal earning patterns โ€” including unusually high referral volumes, repeated same-contractor bookings, and booking cancellation-rebook patterns โ€” will be reviewed and may be suspended pending investigation.

Programme changes

Crew may change earn rates, redemption rates, expiry windows, tier thresholds, booster conditions, and Crew Bucks amounts at any time. For material changes that reduce the value of existing accumulated points or Crew Bucks, Crew will provide at least 30 days written notice to affected Members via email or in-app notification.

Continued use of the Programme after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Crew reserves the right to terminate the Programme entirely with 60 days notice. In the event of Programme termination, Members will be given 60 days to redeem accumulated points and Crew Bucks before forfeiture.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from Programme participation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights a Member may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
