How does the 12-hour guarantee work?
▾
After your job is marked complete, you have 12 hours to raise a dispute. If no dispute is raised, payment automatically transfers to the crew. Your money is always held in escrow until this window closes.
What happens if it rains on my booking day?
▾
If heavy rain is forecast, you and your contractor are both notified and offered the chance to reschedule. Rescheduling due to weather never affects your crew's Retention Score.
How is the Retention Score calculated?
▾
It's the percentage of a contractor's customers who re-book them. A 91% score means 91 out of 100 customers came back. It's harder to fake than star ratings and a better indicator of reliability.
Can I add more than one property?
▾
Yes. Your Crew Pass covers one property. Each additional address is +$5/month. Ideal for investors managing multiple properties — all bookings under one account.
1. The Marketplace Crew connects homeowners with independent local crews. Crews are not employees of Crew. Each contractor sets their own rates for custom services and is responsible for the quality of their work.
2. Payments & Escrow All payments are held in escrow by Crew until the 12-hour dispute window closes. Crew charges no commission to crews. A booking fee of $2.99 applies to users without Crew Pass.
3. Disputes Users may raise a dispute within 12 hours of job completion. Crew admin reviews Before & After photos. The decision of Crew admin is final at the first stage of review.
4. Cancellations Cancellations more than 24 hours before receive a full refund. 2–24 hours: 50% refund. Less than 2 hours: no refund. Weather-related reschedules are exempt.
5. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of New South Wales courts.
